HISTORY

"A builder's success is evidenced by his longevity."

Frank Corigliano Contractors, Inc., founded in 1928, has been imparting uncompromising service, so scarce in today's industry, for many years. Our former projects reflect a diverse range of undertakings. We have performed work directly funded by the Federal Government (HUD), State Government (OMH), and City Government (HPD). Of particular merit is the extensive number of projects with the Diocese of Brooklyn.

Frank A. Corigliano, President of Frank Corigliano Contractors, Inc. has long been a supporter and advocate of Catholic Charities Housing initiatives. Through the past several years, he was directly responsible for the construction of several Senior Residences, including Msgr. Campbell Senior Apartments, Msgr. Burke Senior Apartments, Father Reader Senior Apartments, and the David Minkin Senior Residence; all for Catholic Charities housing affiliate, POP Development. New projects underway for POP Development include the Pius V Senior Residence, the Msgr. Stedman Senior Residence and SS. Lucy/ Patricks' Family Housing, a conversion of two adjoining schools to yield 47 apartments for Family Housing in Bedford Stuyvesant. Other not-for-profit providers have sought Mr. Corigliano and his firm to make their projects a reality; among them Project Return, the St. Francis DeSales Development Corp. and several satellite groups under the United Jewish Appeal Federation.

Mr. Corigliano received the Queens Chamber of Commerce Building Award in 1986 and 1992, and a Queens County Builders & Contractors Association Award for Excellence each year from 1992 through 1997. He was honored with the Professional Builders Feature Performance Award in 1985 and the Professional Builders and Remodeler Acknowledgment in 1992. Mr. Corigliano additionally was awarded a Citation from the Brooklyn Chapter of the American Institute of Architects as Representative and Liaison. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens presented him with the community Development Award at its 1993 Anniversary Dinner. Aside from these commitments, he finds time to serve as a member of the board at Victory Memorial Hospital.
